A San Francisco time machine to get lost in! Old School Arcade on Pier 45 (Musèe Mècanique)

This hidden treasure is a great place to turn back time!

Save up your singles and quarters for this awesome collection of over 200 antique-coin operated machines. This is where magical worlds of old and older come together in a historic arcade of hand made, mechanical, and electronic entertainment that span the ages. With some games as old as the late 1800s, it is unlike any other museum.

Have your fortune told by a machine older than your parents! Find out how high you score on the love machine. OR try your luck against the arm-wrestling machine and lose in a quite embarrassingly fashion, like my buddy Jeff in the picture. With so many funny and weird games you cannot help but have a great time.

It's so cool to play vintage "arcade games" and see how far technology has come! Some of the best games
are the simple ones!

This place is a lot of fun, and I just stumbled upon it. It's a little hidden, but you'll find it once you get to Pier 45. It's a very short walk from Fisherman's Warf, so I would definitely recommend skipping on over if you are in the area. Bring $5, change it into quarters, and have fun! One of the best things about it is that it is FREE admission and the games are super cheap. For some inexpensive fun, check out the Musèe Mècanique.

Check out this PIE! - Irving Pizza in the Marina

I've been here quite a few times now and this pizza is DELICIOUS! Irving Pizza is located right in the middle of all the action in the Marina District. It's right across from the nightclub, Gravity. Hopping across the street for a big slice of pizza after a night of dancing is the perfect end to a night. The inside is really small, but there's lots of cool pictures on the walls and the guys inside are friendly. Mohammed has been there every time I've come in and he really makes you feel at home. So if you're out in the Marina or just want some good pizza, head over to Irving Pizza!

*There's actually 3 Irving Pizza shops in SF; one in the marina, the sunset district, and downtown.

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese steak baby!

There are LOTS of awesome restaurants in the city, but I recently came across a sweet spot near the Castro district. Located on Fillmore Street, the Metro Caffe, is a very small restaurant that is known for their cheese steak sandwiches. They have a bunch of variations: traditional CS, bbq CS, mushroom CS, bacon CS (MY personal fave), turkey CS, pastrami CS, boca CS, garden CS. It's delicious, filling, and affordable! Most sandwiches are about $6.50 and you can add fries for $0.99. If you're in the city and craving a cheese steak stop by here!
